This 3D Printer Playing Industrial Techno Will Make Your Day

Can’t afford a 3D printer? Well thanks to composer and instrument inventor Koka Nikoladze, you’ll at least be able to hear one. With his new piece, Ritual For A 3D Printer, the Georgian has amplified the internal mechanisms of a massive 3D printer to the loudness of a live rock concert. Written in GCODE programming language, the printer is moved in various directions to bring out the hums, buzzes and squelches of the machinery, turning it into a fully automated industrial techno instrument.
