The subtle divide between the worlds of software and real-life performance may have finally been overcome with the launch of Bob O’Reilly’s Expressiv Infinity Guitar. The hybrid instrument combines MIDI functionality with the full expressive potential of a real electric guitar. In effect, it means that the long hours spent with puppy dog eyes in front of guitar shop windows are over: Now you can just plug this guitar in and have access to thousands of different sounds at the touch of your axe.
