A new piece from Tech Talk alum Hannes Bieger offers a glimpse into the history and technical set-up of JRS, a recording studio founded in 2013 by Axel Reinemer. In addition to working as a recording and mixing engineer and producer, Reinemer was a key member of the Jazzanova collective, together with Stefan Leisering. He established JRS (Jazzanova Recording Studio) in what was once a monitor center operated by the East German intelligence agency and secret police before the fall of the Wall. Find out more here.
