In a new video, LA-based producer and iconoclast Daedelus walks us through the evolution of the TR-808-inspired Roland TR-8 Rhythm Performer. The talk was originally delivered as part of the second annual Low End Theory Festival this past August, and also shows Deadelus giving a brief overview of alternative beat structures.
