Earlier this year Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood decamped to a fort outside of Jodhpur, India, with director Paul Thomas Anderson and Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur. A new album titled Junun was the result of three weeks of collaboration with qawwali ensemble the Rajasthan Express, and Anderson (known for directing Hollywood face melters like There Will Be Blood and Inherent Voice) managed to make a movie out of the process. The resulting film, also titled Junun, is available to stream now via MUBI.com.
