At the latest MusicMakers Hacklab in Leuven, Belgium sound artist Darsha Hewitt created a sound experiment inside a flickering LED. Watch the above video to see how this abstract concept actually creates some nice sounds. Or, as Hewitt puts it, “Let’s just jack that LED into the mixer and see what’s gonna happen.”
