Wolfgang Tillmans Exhibits High-End Music

German photographer Wolgang Tillmans, whose large format works are famously displayed at Berghain, has created a “Playback Room” to showcase recorded music alongside visual art. The exhibit features a high-end sound system and lounge chairs, and it’s designed to fill a niche in music consumption as well as offer an alternative to crappy sound on cheap speakers, which is another example of the general shift towards quality in sound culture.

“Playback Room, A Room For Studio Music” is on display from February 16—April 24, 2016 in Munich, Germany.
