How To 3D Print A Modular Synth

Hardware fetishists and futurists rejoice—you can now 3D print yourself a modular keyboard. Designed by Tim Trzepacz of SoftEgg (the company behind Nintendo DSi music app Rhythm Core Alpha), potential users can print out the number of octaves and modulation wheels best suited to their project, which can then easily be rigged with knobs and sliders. Actually wiring the system for functionality is another story, but more details are posted here and the package is available for free download here. Or build yourself a LEGO eurorack case while you’re at it.
