Portland Label Gives Women Wage-Gap Discount

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, women in the States still earn approximately $0.77 for every dollar made by a man. In protest to the enduring wage gap, M’lady’s Records in Portland, Oregon has launched a new policy wherein women pay only 77 percent of list price for mail orders. The company says it will keep the policy in place “until that number gets tuned up and/or we go down in flames.” Men who complain about the price difference? Yer paying double, bub.
