This ultraflexible, organic photonic skin lets you display digits on your palms. The ultra-thin film was developed by a team at the University of Tokyo, and is basically an LED display. Its potential uses vary and for now are mostly geared toward biomedicine, like heart rate displays or other medical data. The technology could potentially compliment the circuit board tattoo, with which (we suspect, at least) you could turn your skin into a synth—see that here.
