A Posthumous Mika Vainio LP Will Be Released Next Week
Reat will mark the relaunch of German label Elektro Music Department.
The sad passing of Finnish minimal, ambient and techno musician Mika Vainio last month does not signal the end of his masterful musical output. Next week, German label Elektro Music Department will release Reat, an eight-track record that was already in production before his death. The label promises that the record will see Vainio “in full action.” You can hear clips of the record via Juno here.
