Never Lose Your Friends At The Techno Club Again With This Tracking Device
Now you can track your friends while you track ID!
We’ve all been there: a big night out at a festival gets kind of loopy, and suddenly the friends you entered with are gone, dissolved into a mass of heaving bodies and dark corners. You don’t want to leave, but you also don’t want to spend the next three hours searching for them. Plus, with a series of high-profile clubs now banning cell phones—as well as the appearance of increasingly remote festival locations devoid of cellphone reception—it looks like you’ve got to find a back-up solution.
That’s why LynQ might become the clubber’s new best friend. Currently crowdfunding via IndieGoGo, the LynQ gadget claims to track up to 12 people within nearly a five kilometer radius without need of cell phone signal or WiFi. Despite its slightly unnerving privacy implications, used with the club in mind, it might be the best way to track down your friends without being that annoying person on their phone the whole time. Check out how it works in the video below.
