The C15 is a new synth by Native Instruments founder Stephan Schmitt.

In these times of rampant retromania and analog emulation, it’s refreshing to hear that at least one company is pushing forward into the unknown. Nonlinear Labs, a company owned by Native Instruments founder Stephan Schmitt, has just unveiled the C15, its new flagship instrument.

The beautifully designed synth is a departure from the norm; it uses a digital engine to crunch mathematical algorithms that generate signals, which can be altered dynamically by the musician playing the instrument. For this reason, it’s a perfect fit for performing keyboardists looking to add some expressiveness to their approach. Check out a video below.
