Pioneer has upped the ante in mixing with the new CDJ-2000NSX2 and DJM-900NSX2 mixer. Sound quality is the main focus, but the makers have not neglected aspects of accessibility and interface. The CDJ sets new industry standards with the 96 kHz/24-bit soundcard and 32-bit D/A converter, and touch screen enables you to find your tracks much quicker through a QWERTY keyboard—because we all know how annoying it gets to scroll through your music archives by just twisting a knob. The mixer is another treat, featuring improved EQ and 14 beat FX, and can hook up to four devices to a single source by using the Pro DJ Link System.
