Coming This Friday: An Unreleased Radiohead Single

A hint at “I Promise” appeared on Spotify, and it will apparently see an official release on June 2.

Radiohead will soon re-issue their landmark LP OK Computer, which marked the point when the band added more electronics and effects into their fundamental guitar-and-drums sound. Some songs from the album have only rarely been performed live; other, even rarer tracks didn’t make the original cut yet still get an occasional live performance. “I Promise” is one of those forgotten jams that will feature on the OKNOTOK bonus disc compilation, and a Reddit user noticed had finally appeared on Spotify with a release date marked as June 2. However, the website for the full OKNOTOK collection states that it won’t be out until June 23.
