Vestax’s new mixer, the Phoenix (Hou-ou)—which was initially announced in 2016—is now officially available to order. The fully-analogue device has four channels, old-school VU metering on every channel as well as a three-band isolator EQ.
These features may seem relatively straightforward, but what makes this mixer so expensive and exceptionally high quality is the fact that every component is carefully designed and built from hand. According to Vestax, everything is “easy to see and robust enough to evolve with your own creativity.”
