Prosthetic Knowledge has posted footage of a neat video installation that transforms different structures into “a visual instrument.” Using an iPad with TouchOSC to control a vvvv patch animated graphics are generated. These images are then projected through glass prisms and beam splitters placed on a revolving mirror-turntable. As light is refracted around the room, it is simultaneously captured by a camera which outputs to four projectors, further bathing the room in beautiful shifting shapes of color.
