As you’ve probably heard, electronic music is serious business in Belgium. Recently, the City of Brussels, in collaboration with Cercle and a number of other local organizations, invited megastar Belgian techno DJ Amelie Lens to play a set beneath the city’s iconic Atomium structure.
The set is an unstoppable tour through Lens’ particularly energetic and hard approach to techno. One YouTube commenter remarked, “Damn, the music reminds me of the 1992-93 period in Belgium actually”. We weren’t there back then, but we have a feeling we know what they mean.
The set was live streamed last Monday, but it’s now available on demand.
