The prolific San Francisco label Dark Entries is set to release a 12″ by Berlin-based DJ and producer Doc Sleep.
For Crème Fraîche, the Jacktone co-owner and Room 4 Resistance resident signed two previously released tracks to Dark Entries. The label discovered one of them on Doc Sleep’s SoundCloud page, while the second track, “Never Eating Again”, will be an updated version of a cut included on last year’s Bay Area techno compilation Run the Length of Your Wildness Vol. 2.
To round off the release, Dark Entries tapped fellow Room 4 Resistance resident rRoxymore and Lisbon’s Violet for remixes. The record will also be released as a cassette with two exclusive bonus tracks (that will also feature on the digital release). Proceeds from the reboot of “Never Eating Again” will go to the family of the late Bay Area producer Cherushii, who was one of the 36 victims died in the Oakland Ghost Ship fire.
