The location of the famous highway has been discovered.
The world is gearing up for another musical milestone: 2017 marks 20 years since Radiohead’s landmark record, OK Computer, first melted everyone’s minds. To celebrate, the band has already announced a reissue of the record that features three unreleased tracks—”Lift”, “I Promise” and “Man Of War”—and eight B-sides.
Can’t wait for the drop? Then tide yourself over with this interesting tidbit: A Redditor by the name of Jordan117 has finally discovered and revealed the location of the famous highway featured on the LP’s cover. The picture is of the eastbound junction of I-84 (also known as the Yankee Expressway) with the I-91 in Hartford, Connecticut, just before it crosses the Connecticut River. The user theorized that the photograph was taken from the nearby Hilton Hotel, where the band stayed after a 1996 performance in Hartford. Learn more here. Listen to the legendary record below.
