Intergalactic Gary Digs Deep For His B-Sides

Intergalactic Gary Digs Deep For His B-Sides

The Dutch DJ’s impeccable taste is on full display with these five classy selections.

There are some DJs whose crazy record collections and expansive tastes can’t be properly captured in even 100 selections. Intergalactic Gary is one of those DJs. Over a career that goes back to throwing squat parties back in the Hague in the early ’80s, the Dutch DJ has built a reputation as one of the most refined and encyclopedic selectors in the game. From studying Italo disco in his teenage years to spinning on pirate radio with the likes of CBS Radio founder I-F, Intergalactic Gary’s experience makes every DJ set an exercise in impeccable taste, daring transitions and a willingness to throw the rulebook out the window to keep dance floors moving.

All these qualities are on full display as Intergalactic Gary joins for the newest edition of B-sides. Starting off with an obscure, disco-edged synth project from Buzzcocks’ lead singer Pete Shelley, he then digs deep to bring us some brilliant techno from the UK before rounding things off with a very special Dutch anthem from Wladimir M. Like everything Intergalactic Gary does, these selections are sure to send you off into a spiral of musical exploration and discovery.
