Here’s an opportunity to get you seriously excited for next weekend. Next Friday, Berlin-based experimentalist Lotic will debut their highly-anticipated record, Power, at Berlin’s most sophisticated performance space. The Texan native’s strikingly-contemporary compositions will reach new levels of physicality and spatial intensity when performed on MONOM’s 4DSOUND installation space, which is currently housed at Funkhaus.

MONOM’s formidable acoustic environment immerses up to 400 people inside 48 omnidirectional speakers suspended throughout the venue, with 9 powerful subs submerged beneath the floor. Needless to say, we can’t think of a better space to house Lotic’s raw and intense tracks. They’ll be joined on the night by Shapednoise, whose manipulated and morphed sonic experiments are the perfect compliment to the main spectacle.
